These are probably the most beautiful windows we have ever installed. Granted it’s always a stress putting in something so shiny and new so early on in a project, but if your building isn’t water tight, the rest isn’t going to happen is it?!
However these are particularly fabulous! Even Steven got excited seeing these go in, and not much gets him excited! 😂
Next step is wrapping up these babies as best we can ready for the rendering to start in the coming weeks.
So on this project, the thing that is stressing us the most is keeping these gorgeous new windows from any damage for the duration of the renovation.

We have been so impressed watching the roofer carefully remove, retain and re fit the old tiles on this building.

✅ Skirtings, architrave, doors, radiators, coving out
So whilst it looked pretty sad in this video we are well on the way to starting the process of turning this into a lovely home.

In fact the youngest got soooo stuck it went from funny to everyone having a sense of humour fail pretty quick…..
We did get him out but not without three of us being totally caked in mud during the rescue mission with me thinking I may also be stuck too for a moment!
Blooming kids… I’d like to say they’ll listen when we say stay away from the mud next time but I doubt it….
